Happy Camper

Tessa Ziplining
Enjoying popcorn made over the fire
This is the first summer that Tessa hasn't spent at least a few days at daycare.  Most people find this odd, that I would send her to daycare when I am off in the summers, but to be honest as an only child she need's to be around kids her own age during the 3 months that school is out.  Also, this mommy needs a break once in a while - even if it does sound selfish.  Instead of going to daycare part-time, we decided to sign Tessa up for a few day camps.  Her cousins, Kaedin and Braylin, went to Echo Bluff adventure camp last year.  This year they offered a bunch more camps - Adventure Camp, Park Ranger Camp, Art Camp, Scientist Camp, and Echo Bluff Went Crazy.  Tessa wanted to go to all of these camps.  Most of them were only 3 days long from 8:30-4.  She has learned SO much.  Just during Adventure Camp she learned how to shoot archery, shoot paintball, cook over a campfire, went on hikes, zip lined, sang camp songs, made crafts, and played on a giant slip n slide.  She has been having a blast this summer making memories and new friends!
