Mommy and Me, Sweeties and Tea with Cinderella

Last Sunday, Tessa and I went to the Mendota Civic Center for Mommy and Me, Sweeties and Tea with Cinderella.  Tessa was SO excited to see Cinderella.  She had lots of questions to ask her - mainly whether or not she arrived in a carriage and if Tessa could see it.  We went to the tea with my friend Amy and her daughter, Kenley.

Tessa had a great time, but to be honest I was expecting more for my money.  There was a buffet of finger foods and snacks, a make-up area for the girls to put lip gloss on, and a picture taking area.  That is about it.  Oh, yeah, they had the movie playing while we sat at the tables.  Tessa loved it, but I didn't think there was much for the girls to do for 2 hours.




Cinderella arrived about 30 minutes after it started and made her way from table to table.  That was the highlight for both Tessa and I.  Tess just LOVED seeing her.  You can see how excited she is just by the look on her face.  She did ask Cinderella her question about the coach.  Luckily, Cinderella was a quick thinker and told her that it was parked, and we couldn't see it.  That didn't stop Tessa from asking about it on our way out of the tea and crying because we didn't see it.  Oh, the drama that this child can create at times.  :)
