Daddy Daughter Dance

Last Saturday was the Daddy Daughter Dance at the Putnam County Elementary School.  Tessa was so excited.  She had gone to a daddy daughter dance last year, but she only knew one girl.  This year her friends from her class would be there too.  She couldn't wait to go and have fun.

About an hour after the dance started, Broch called me.  I thought this was odd since he was suppose to be hanging out with Tessa.  He told be that they were on their way home because Tessa had had an accident.  The girls were having a good time and running around in a line of sorts.  Somehow Tessa fell down and ended up with a HUGE goose egg on her head.  She was okay, but wanted her mommy.

We kept her up for awhile and kept ice on her head and gave her some Tylenol.  It is much better now, and she is excited to go to the dance again next year; however, she thinks she may wear shoes that aren't so "slippery".
