Christmas Light Obsession

Ever since the beginning of the holiday season, Tessa has loved the Christmas lights and decorations that people put outside their houses.
We even purchased an inflatable Frosty because she loved them so much.  Every morning, she checks to see if he is "awake" or "asleep", and every night she needs to say hello to him.

Also, EVERY night, Broch has to drive her through Candlestick Lane in town to see the lights.  Some of her favorite decorations are the snowmen, penguins, and Santa.

This doesn't mean that she isn't aware of the reason for the season.  She knows that Christmas is a celebration of Jesus' birth (although she may argue that it is her birthday).  She even walks down to the neighbors to see Jesus in the nativity scene on nights when the weather permits.

I'm pretty sure that when Christmas finally get here and the lights and decorations are taken down, we will have one disappointed little girl.
