A Day Full of Appointments

Yesterday was a busy day for us.  After picking Tessa up from preschool, we headed for lunch at Dairy Queen.  As part of a reward for good behavior, Tessa was able to choose the restaurant.  I am sure glad she did because as we were walking in, we ran into our good friends the Wilsons.  Amy and I use to work at Mendota High School together, and we were roommates for a few years.  Amy still works at MHS and is now the mom to 4 kids - Wesley, Kenley, Charley, and Molly.  She was out running errands with the 3 oldest kids, so we were able to catch up over lunch.  It was great!

After lunch we headed to Ottawa to pick up a few things from my mom's before heading to Tessa's dentist appointment.  Tessa went to the dentist only one other time this past summer.  That time, they let me go back with her so she wouldn't be scared.  This time she went back all by herself and did great!  She has no cavities and her teeth are slowly shifting back to their normal position.  Her top teeth are a little forward due to using a paci.  Hopefully they will continue to shift back to their normal positions.

After her dentist appointment, we swung by GRAINCO, FS to see Daddy and Papa before heading to see our favorite hairstylist, Karla.  Tessa just loves Karla.  She likes to pretend that she is Karla and do my hair.  She has tried doing Broch's hair, but it doesn't work out that well.  :)  Below are the results of her new hair cut.  I think it looks really cute, and Tessa loves it!
