1 Tube Down

Saturday night Tessa started running a fever. This continued into Sunday with her temperature reaching as high as 103. We were alternating Tylenol and Advil. When the medicine would work, she was her normal go happy girl, but as the medicine started to wear off our lethargic, sad puppy-eyes little girl appeared. Since there were no other symptoms, we figured it was just a virus of some sort.

When she woke up this morning, the fever had broke. Still, Broch stayed home with her today. Around 11:30 her fever was back. So, off to the doctor we went, and it is a good thing we did. Tess has lost the tube from her right ear, and in its place is an ear infection. Talk about a blast from the past!

If we start a new cycle of one ear Infection after another, we will need to go back to the specialist to talk about a second tube placement. Hopefully, this will be the last one in awhile. I had forgotten how awful ear infections can be...wish us luck for a speedy recovery!
