| Up, Up and Away |
Tessa finally said farewell to the paci on April Fool's Day - no joking. We had been talking about getting rid of it for awhile. We finally decided how to officially say goodbye. We tied a paci to a balloon and sent the balloon up to baby Alayna, so that she can use the paci since Tessa no longer needed it.

We had been planning on getting Tessa a big girl play set since she outgrew the baby one last summer. So, as a reward for giving her paci to baby Alayna, Tessa got a new play set. She "traded" her paci for it. So far it has gone really well. She asks about the paci at least once a day, but she says it in a teasing manner because she knows we no longer have them. We just remind her that she gave them to baby Alayna and now has a fun play set instead. Had I known it would be this easy to get rid of the paci, I would have done it a long time ago.
Our next obstacle to tackle is potty training. Wish us luck!
