It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas...

Well, believe it or not, it is almost December.  We put up our Christmas tree the weekend before Christmas.  Of course, Tessa LOVED the tree.  The first night it was up, she even gave it a hug before going to sleep.  :)  We have already gone on our first car ride around the city looking for Christmas lights and Snowmen in particular.  The first time we went looking for Christmas lights Tessa said, "Christmas lights, where are you?"  It was so cute!

I am really looking forward to the holidays this year because Tessa will actually kind of know what is going on.  We have been reading Christmas books and even watching Barney's Christmas episodes.  We are going to introduce Tessa to the Elf on the Shelf later this week.  It will move every night because she will need to report to the North Pole to tell Santa about Tessa's behavior.  As the years go on, I am sure the elf will get into more and more trouble.  :)

Santa has even sent Tessa an email letting him know that she is on the nice list and reminding her to be good at daycare.  Santa's letter will be another tradition that we continue with Tessa.  I am so excited to see what the rest of the holiday season holds for us.  I know Tessa will really enjoy playing in the snow.  Then she can make her own snowman, and we won't have to go driving around town looking for one.  :)
