"Trick Treat"

I wasn't sure what to expect at Halloween since Tessa either really likes dressing up or is terrified of anyone in a costume. So, the plan was to go walk to the houses with lights on in our cul-de-sac (all 3 of the!) and drive to the neighborhood behind our house and stop at two of our friends' houses if their lights were on.

All was going well, then Tessa saw two cats and decided she would rather play with them than go to the first house. Needless to say, we were able to divert her attention enough to make it to the first house. We rang the doorbell and in a very quiet voice with some prompting Tessa says, "Trick Treat" and then proceeds to try to walk into the house! Lol! I guess next year we will need to practice staying on the porch. :)
