September, 2013 Recap

September was a busy month for us primarily because we went on a family vacation to Disney World (See the following post for more information about our trip.).  The weather in the beginning of September was still so nice we were able to get some more pool/water play days in.  Below is a picture of Tessa all dolled up after playing in the water with Gigi.  She thought she looked beautiful and loves putting make-up on and getting all glamified.

We also went to the Ottawa Scarecrow Fest in September with my mom and sisters.  They have all sorts of craft and snack booths as well as activities for the kids.  Tessa enjoyed the bounce  house as well as the dog show.  She did NOT like the petting zoo area.  She is all talk and little action when it comes to those kind of things.  She loves the animals....as long as they stay far away from her.

We also decided to move to Granville during the month of September.  We didn't take possession of the rental house until October, but September was definitely a month of preparing to move with packing, organizing and cleaning.  Since we were moving to Granville, we decided to have Tessa change schools.  We had some issues with daycare in DePue and decided it would be best to move Tessa to a different daycare as well as school.  She now goes to daycare at Kelly Curley's house, and she LOVES it.  She is in afternoon preschool at PC and really enjoys it as well.  She didn't have any problems transitioning and seems to have made friends easily.
